Job Requirement
Salary will be pro-rated for this temporary position.

Please note: you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when applying; however, these are not required at the time of application.
Print the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.
To ensure your application is accepted, the signed Head Teacher report must be emailed from the Head Teacher who completed it to mdaniel@kirkintilloch.e-dunbarton.sch.uk before the closing date.
Include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form.
The completed report should be submitted by the Head Teacher to the above email address prior to the deadline.
Failure to do so may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.

PVG/Disclosure Scotland
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks are subject to the following criteria:
Successful candidates for regulated roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment confirmation.
Candidates will be responsible for the cost of the check, which will be deducted from their first salary payment. In some cases, this deduction may occur in installments post-employment, subject to HR approval.
If an employee leaves employment before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from their final salary.
This policy also applies to current employees applying for roles requiring PVG/Disclosure checks.
