We are seeking to recruit a research assistant who will be a key team member of the PTAS funded research project Enhanced Engagement Support. This project aims to develop insights into the undergraduate student population within Edinburgh Law School who demonstrate persistently low levels of attendance - an overarching aim of this project is to identify ways to combat these trends and encourage this group of students to reengage with their community and studies. You will assist the PI and project team to collate and analyse both quantitative attendance data, and qualitative fieldwork data, working closely with the students we hope to engage in the project. This post is part time with an expected working pattern of around 7 hours per week, this will be a flexible working pattern over 8 months. The post is due to start on April 2026 until December 2026. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. PhD students are not able to complete more than 9hrs/week on average over the year (August 1st-July 31 st ).
