We're seeking an
Electronics Engineering Manager
to join a leading technology business driving innovation in advanced embedded products.
In this role, you'll lead a talented engineering team of 6 engineers and take ownership of the full product lifecycle from requirements and system architecture to circuit design, prototyping, testing, and production support. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with proven leadership skills, ensuring projects meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and integration of embedded products (digital, analogue, and software).
* Develop specifications, requirements, and interface definitions.
* Design, simulate, and validate circuits; develop embedded software in
C/C++
.
* Drive system integration, debugging, and validation activities.
* Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
* Support compliance (EMC, safety) and DFMEA reviews.
About You:
* Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar.
* 5–10 years' experience
in systems engineering and people management/leadership.
* Strong digital & analogue design skills (ADCs, DACs, op-amps, power supplies).
* Embedded software expertise (C/C++, RTOS, comms protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
* Familiar with PCB tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad) and simulation (LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink).
Desirable:
wireless comms (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa), intrinsic safety standards, or experience in regulated sectors (medical, aerospace, automotive, industrial automation).
