Job Description:
ProSkillz Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Registered Manager to oversee an established 3-bed EBD children's home in Halesowen, rated outstanding by Ofsted.
This role is ideal for a Deputy seeking advancement or an existing Registered Manager seeking a new challenge. The home has been recently refurbished and aims to provide an outstanding environment for vulnerable children.
The successful candidate must have:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or be working towards it.
* At least 2 years of experience as a manager or deputy in residential children's care.
* Understanding of therapeutic models.
* Experience working with children with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities.
* Strong leadership and management skills, including delegation.
* Ability to work independently and within a team, maintaining professional boundaries.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation (Children's Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, etc.).
* Creativity and initiative in challenging situations.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to transport.
