Your day as an apprentice:
As an Aggreko apprentice, every dayis different. Each day starts with a team briefing on safety and priorities.You’llget hands-on training in mechanical and electrical repairs on generators, load banks, and battery energy storage systems. Your tasks will change based on the repairs underway, giving you broad practical experience across all our products.Throughout,you’llbuild practical skills with hands-on support and guidance, always working safely to keep everyone safe.

1. Carry outserviceand repair on power generation, battery storageloadbanks,oil-free airequipmentandtemperature controlequipment
2. Develop your knowledge and confidence using a range of hand tools
3. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues
4. Work safelytokeep everyone safe
5. Collaborate with teams to deliver excellent service and contribute to key projects
6. Use IT tools like laptops and mobile devices to support your work
7. Balance practical work experience with college study towards an EngineeringModernApprentice

14. Four National 5s grade C+ including English, maths, and one STEM subject or equivalent. Alternatively, an NC, a pre-apprenticeship or foundation apprenticeship in an engineering subject.
