JOB TITLE: Commercial Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3+ PQE

THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic commercial team, advising on a wide range of commercial contracts with a particular focus on technology related agreements. The role will involve drafting, negotiating and advising on complex contractual arrangements including outsourcing and procurement projects, IT and cloud services, data centre arrangements, logistics and manufacturing agreements, as well as agency, distribution and franchising matters. You will take the lead on client matters, managing transactions from inception to completion and building strong, long term client relationships. The role offers close collaboration with colleagues across the firm, working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver commercially focused solutions. In addition, you will support the broader business by assisting senior lawyers with the supervision and development of junior team members.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants should have at least 3 years’ PQE in commercial law, gained in a reputable law firm or in-house environment. Experience advising clients in sectors such as technology, healthcare, leisure, life sciences, construction or the public sector would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with in-house style commercial contracts, consumer contracts and public procurement matters, although this is not essential. You will be commercially minded, technically strong and confident in managing client relationships, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
