Location: Covering multiple services-Kirkintilloch, Dalmuir & Dalmarnock
Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £22,932 per annum
Contract: Permanent

About the Role:

21HSC are recruiting for a Peripatetic Support and Development Worker on behalf of organisation providing care and support services. This role focuses on enhancing the lives of adults (16+) with learning disabilities or additional support needs. The service offers day opportunities where individuals are supported to learn and develop a variety of independent living skills.

The successful candidate will promote independence, well-being, and inclusion through both one-to-one and group support, ensuring that each individual is empowered to achieve their goals.

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Provide respectful support that promotes dignity, choice, and control.

2. Motivate and encourage individuals to achieve personal goals.

3. Act as a key worker for several service users, completing accurate records and reviews.

4. Support with personal care needs when required.

5. Plan and deliver activities such as cookery, crafts, and gardening.
