We're looking for a Quality Control Assistant to help ensure every product meets the impeccable standards of our premium brand clients. If you're detail-oriented, organised and passionate about quality, this is your chance to be part of a packaging team that delivers excellence in every detail.
What you'll be doing:
As a Quality Control Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the exceptional standards our premium brand clients expect.
Working closely with the QC Team Leader, you'll help maintain our reputation for precision, quality and excellence in premium packaging production.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out detailed final inspections of products before dispatch, ensuring compliance with AQL standards and company specifications.
* Conducting checks on jobs that require outwork processes andkeeping all related spreadsheets up to date.
* Identifying and reporting quality issues promptly to the QC Team Leader and supporting any necessary follow-up investigations.
* Perform inspection sorts when customer quality concerns arise, helping to identify root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
* Assist in the training and development of colleagues on quality procedures and best practices.
* Manage and organise sample control, including customer, job bag and QC samples.
* Ensure accurate processing of jobs through Tharstern, verifying all required information and procedures are followed.
* Maintain and update quality control statistics, raising concessions, Certificates of Conformity (CoCs), and other compliance documents as required.
* Upload documentation to Q-Pulse and communicate any shortages or quality issues to the wider team.
* Support the administration of the sample and colour standard libraries, ensuring they are organised and up to date.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and precision.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, product-based environment, ideally within manufacturing or packaging.
* A solid understanding of systems management and quality control processes.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
* Confident communicator, able to work effectively across departments and levels.
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately to tight deadlines.
