About the Role
As a Plant Technician, you’ll carry out a full range of service, maintenance, and repair tasks on specialist vehicles. You’ll work independently within our fully equipped Slough workshop, supported by a collaborative and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair specialist vehicles and equipment to high standards.
* Work efficiently while maintaining strong attention to safety and quality.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
* Keep job sheets, timesheets, and service records accurate and up to date.
* Maintain excellent standards of workshop cleanliness and organisation.
* Provide technical feedback and improvement suggestions to management.
* Promote parts and service opportunities when appropriate.
* Occasionally attend customer sites as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in plant, forklift, HGV, or similar mechanical roles.
* Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Ability to work independently with a professional, problem-solving mindset.
* A commitment to quality workmanship and a team-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
