Salary: £29,565 - £43,562 per annum (subject to progression criteria) | Contract: Full time, Permanent | Hours: 37 hours per week | Teaching hours: 864 hours per annum | Annual Leave: 45 days per annum plus bank holidays

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lecturer in Electrical Maintenance Engineering to join our TTE Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Engineering professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment within the field of Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
* Provide both practical and theoretical instruction in key areas, such as Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
* Support students\' academic and personal development, empowering them to reach their full potential.
* Design and deliver lesson plans that bridge classroom concepts with real-world applications.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the diverse needs of all students.
* Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression by offering personalised guidance and support.
What We’re Looking For
* Hold a teaching qualification or are willing to work towards
* Hold a qualified assessor award or willing to work towards
* Have at least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
* Hold GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
* Ideally have current knowledge and/or experience in teaching Electrical Maintenance Engineering
* Demonstrate awareness of sector issues that could affect curriculum delivery
* Have current knowledge and/or experience of career opportunities in the sector for learners aged 16–18 and 19+
