About the Opportunity:
Our client, a global leader in the industrial and energy sectors, is seeking an experienced Indirect Material Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team. This role involves coordinating the distribution of indirect materials such as chemicals, consumables, and tools across multiple sites, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the distribution of indirect materials based on site priorities.
* Ensure compliance standards for inspection and calibration of tools.
* Update stakeholders on purchase orders and delivery timelines.
* Manage logistics issues in collaboration with the SCM team.
* Work with suppliers and logistics providers to optimize delivery and costs.
* Maintain accurate inventory and support order tracking.
* Lead logistics process reviews and improvements.
* Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Required Experience & Skills:
* Experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or inventory management.
* Knowledge of compliance and calibration for industrial tools.
* Proficiency with supply chain software and inventory systems.
* Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
* Attention to detail, safety awareness, and proactive improvement mindset.
* Understanding of international shipping and customs is a plus.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.
