Sellick Partnership Ltd are currently recruiting for a Damp and Disrepair Manager to join one of our Bristol based clients on an interim basis
Daily duties of the Interim Damp and Disrepair Manager:
* Support the Head of Service and other managers in leading teams that deal with complaints, disrepair and damp and mould issues
* Assist with the management of the damp and mould and disrepair teams
* Ensure all claims and legislative issues within Repairs and Maintenance are successfully investigated and completed in accordance with the necessary timescales
* Monitor the work of a variety of different trades teams & contractors from start through to completion
* Provide a professional service and provide expert witness advice and reports to a range of officers in relation to technical housing matters
Essential requirements of the Interim Damp and Disrepair Manager:
* Educated to degree level in building surveying, environmental health or other relevant building construction degree
* Excellent knowledge of disrepair in housing to include legislation, regulation, best practice, improvements, and technological developments
* Previously worked within Social Housing
