The role & what you'll be doingSirius Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a steel fabrication business in Pontefract, who are looking to strengthen their shopfloor team with a CNC Laser Operator.Key responsibilities include:
* Running the CNC laser machine as efficiently as possible, aiming for factory speeds without compromising quality
* Minimising machine stoppages and downtime
* Carrying out basic quality checks by measuring parts against customer drawings
* Accurately recording quantities produced on job sheets
* Moving raw materials to and from designated storage areas, maintaining identification of offcuts
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy work area
* Highlighting any health & safety concerns to the Works Manager
