This role is integral in supporting the efficient operation of a busy accounts department by managing key financial processes. Day-to-day of the role: Manage and process a large volume of invoices for timely payment approval. Accurately enter and validate invoice details, ensuring correct coding. Reconcile supplier accounts and review statements for discrepancies. Organize and maintain invoice and statement records for easy retrieval. Respond promptly to supplier queries and resolve issues effectively. Use digital tools and systems to streamline and monitor workflow. Demonstrate strong numerical ability and maintain proficiency with IT applications. Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification. Previous experience working in a similar role. Demonstrable experience with reconciliation and purchase ledger. Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in Excel and spreadsheet applications. Ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate good organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
