A leading national law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor or Associate (NQ to 6 years' PQE) to join its thriving Regional Employment team, based in Brighton, East Sussex.

The Employment team acts predominantly for employers, advising a diverse client base that ranges from entrepreneurial start-ups and fast-growing SMEs to large UK PLCs and multinational organisations. Clients span a number of sectors including retail, technology, education, aviation, hospitality, and sport, and also include high-net-worth individuals seeking specialist employment advice.
The Role
You'll be dealing with a broad spectrum of employment work (both contentious and non-contentious), including:
* Advising on complex employment tribunal claims, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal cases.
* Supporting clients through redundancy processes, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and capability management.
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, service agreements, policies, and staff handbooks.
* Providing employment law advice in connection with corporate transactions, including business transfers and reorganisations.
* Advising boards and senior executives on strategic employment and HR matters.

Requirements
* You must be a qualified Employment Lawyer (either Solicitor or Legal Executive) with a passion for employment law and a commercial, solutions-focused approach.
* You will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent client care standards, and a proactive attitude to business development.
* Applications are welcomed from Employment Lawyers who have recently qualified through to those with up to six years' post-qualification experience.
