Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician or GP to join our CQC Clinic in Greenwich
This role will be an addition to our service and will be based in a different part of the building dedicated to more medical procedures. The position offers an attractive commission-based salary.
Experience in gynecology, particularly with ultrasound scanning, would be advantageous.
Experience in aesthetic medicine would be also advantageous.
This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive lives, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with a keen understanding of women's health issues, and will be committed to delivering high-quality medical services in a compassionate manner.
Duties
* Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose and treat various obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
* Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care, ensuring the health and wellbeing of both mother and child.
* Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including but not limited to caesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Educate patients on health maintenance, family planning, and preventive care strategies.
* Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynaecology through continuous professional development.
Requirements
* Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a valid medical licence to practice in the UK.
* Specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with relevant board certification.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and public health principles.
* Experience in patient care settings such as home care, hospice care, nursing homes, or senior care is advantageous.
* Proficiency in medication administration and familiarity with ICU protocols is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
* A commitment to providing empathetic care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
