Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Near Cranleigh, Surrey
Working Pattern: Full:Time or Part:Time (Minimum 3 days per week)
Salary: GBP19,000 per annum (Rising to GBP20,500 after two years as a Senior TA). Optional: Earn an additional GBP2,000 by working 16 hours a week in the holiday care setting after 6 months.

About the Setting
This is a truly spectacular environment. The school is set within a beautiful stately home nestled on 22 acres of heritage land near Cranleigh. The incredible facilities are designed to support a holistic approach to learning and include stables, a football pitch, nature trails, sensory gardens, an onsite café, and an artist in residence Staff even have access to an outdoor heated pool and a dedicated staff break room.
The trust supports students aged 5 to 19 with a diagnosis of autism (ASC) or associated needs. Please note that this setting upholds Christian religious values, incorporating morning prayer and Bible lessons into the routine. You do not need to be a Christian to work here, but you must be comfortable respecting and supporting the schools core values.
Day:to:Day Responsibilities
We believe in complete transparency so you know exactly what to expect. In this role, you will:

Support small classes (6 to 8 students) alongside a Class Teacher and a team of Teaching Assistants, providing 1:1 support when required.

Proactively manage and de:escalate complex and highly challenging behaviours.

Embrace a holistic approach to education, assisting students both in the classroom and across the expansive 22:acre grounds (including nature trails and sensory gardens).

Support the religious and community:focused ethos of the school.

Qualifications/Experience: Absolutely no prior experience or specific GCSEs are required. We hire based on human characteristics and potential.

Working Pattern: You must be able to commit to a minimum of three days per week.

Transport: Due to the rural location of the estate, reliable transport to the Cranleigh area is essential.
