A home for human potential
At Reall, we believe everyone deserves a safe, sustainable place to call home. That’s why we’re on a mission to transform housing markets so they work for people, prosperity, and the planet.
Globally, there are 1.2 billion people without somewhere decent to call home. We have been pioneers and thought leaders in the global affordable housing space, working to improve the lives of under-served households in African and Asian cities by building and increasing access to green resilient homes.
We work across five dynamic markets—Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, India, and Pakistan—where we’re building access to affordable, green homes for underserved urban communities. Reall has a commercially and environmentally viable solution that drives macroeconomic development and catalyses pathways to net zero. Our work doesn’t just change lives; it sparks economic growth, creates jobs, promotes climate resilience, and opens new paths to net zero. So far, we've improved the lives of over 3 million people, supported more than 200,000 jobs, delivered clean water to half a million people, and brought safe sanitation to over a million.
Now, we’re looking for a bold, visionary leader to join us as our next Chief Executive Officer. This is an opportunity to deliver Reall’s vision, making housing markets work for people, prosperity and planet. The next CEO can shape the future of a high-impact social enterprise that’s been innovating in affordable housing for over 30 years. You’ll guide an expert team, ensure financial management, fundraising, delivery, people and governance are delivered at a high standard and champion Reall’s mission on the world stage.
We're looking for a leader with a strong track record of navigating complex challenges in emerging markets, someone who brings deep expertise in investment, finance, and loan book management. You'll need to be driven by a genuine commitment to inclusive and sustainable development, with the strategic vision to steer through uncertainty, and the practical know-how to turn vision into results. As the face of Reall, you’ll be confident and credible on the global stage, yet grounded and open to listening and learning. Above all, you'll be passionate about systems change and skilled at building the kind of powerful partnerships that transform ideas into lasting impact. If you’re a changemaker who blends commercial acumen with a fierce drive for social good, we want to hear from you.
If you have the experience and motivation to make our future a success, we would love to hear from you. To apply, please submit a CV and covering letter, detailing how you fulfil the role description and personal specification here. The deadline for applications is 18th August at 9:00am BST.
Reall is based in Coventry, and the CEO is expected to spend 2 days a week (3 out of 4 weeks) in Coventry. The salary is in the region of £130,000, open to discussion for those with exceptional leadership credentials.
