We are looking for PDI Technicians to join our client’s busy automotive workshop in Chipping Warden. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a constant flow of vehicles, ensuring all checks are completed to a high standard before vehicles are released.
The Role:
Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections and basic vehicle checks, including:
1. Role requires worker to do checks on vehicles:
2. Checking fluid levels
3. Carrying out visual tyre inspections
4. Completing brake checks
5. Inspecting seatbelts for wear & tear
6. Ensuring vehicles meet required standards prior to release
7. Occasionally making and fitting number plates
8. This is a non-mechanical role – no fitment work or ramp inspections are required.
The Person:
9. NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
10. Previous experience in a PDI or vehicle inspection role.
11. Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
12. Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
13. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
