Repairs Planner / Scheduler - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance
Based in Milton Keynes
Full time, 12 month FTC
£26,000 - £27,000 per annum

Here at Howells, we are working with a leading UK contractor to find an experienced and proactive Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join their team, working on repairs and maintenance within social housing.
For this role, you must have experience as a Planner / Scheduler working on a Social Housing contract, either for a main contractor or RSL (Social Landlord), along with excellent time management and communication skills. You will also have experience of using repairs and maintenance software.
Planner / Scheduler Responsibilities:
1. Managing calls
2. Managing operatives' diaries
3. Planning repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative
4. Ensuring trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively
5. Liaising with operatives, tenants, and the Client
6. Document Control - Ensuring worksheets are received and checked
7. Working towards individual and client KPIs
8. Dealing with council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential, and emergency property maintenance works
9. Tracking and monitoring to completion
10. Liaison with in-house and 3rd party engineers, tradesmen, and council operatives to plan appointments, materials, and logistics, and reorganizing schedules
11. Organisation of external supply companies
12. Ensuring all trades are ready and present on-site, and works are completed in line with client deadlines
13. Working in a fast-paced, demanding role with constant collaboration with stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades
