SEN Classroom Support Assistant - Primary Inclusion Role
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Pay: £95-£110 per day

A warm and welcoming primary school in Oldham is looking for a SEN Classroom Support Assistant to join their team.
This is more than just a support role - it's about helping children feel confident, understood, and able to take part in school life. You'll be working with pupils who need extra guidance to access learning, build relationships, and develop independence.

You'll work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils both academically and emotionally in a structured, nurturing environment.
What you'll be doing
Your day will be varied, rewarding, and focused on making a difference.
You will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Help deliver adapted lessons and targeted interventions
• Support pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
• Help remove barriers to learning so every child can participate
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and wider staff team
• Help create a classroom where pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated

• Has experience supporting children in an SEN or school setting
