Baltic is delighted to partner with SmarterPay to source their next content creation apprentice. SmarterPay is a nimble, customer‑focused private limited company headquartered in Hull, offering Direct Debit, card payment, and Open Banking solutions that help organisations automate and streamline their payment processes.
In this exciting role, the apprentice will get stuck into a variety of creative tasks — from helping to update and redesign the company’s online product manual (WIKI) to creating fun and engaging social media content that supports marketing campaigns. You’ll have the chance to write blogs and editorials, get involved in running Google Ads, work alongside expert agencies to improve the company’s online visibility, and even help introduce a new website chat function. There’ll also be opportunities to create video content that shows off SmarterPay’s products in a fresh and engaging way.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Maintaining content for online product manual (WIKI)
* Creating Social Media content to support commercial campaigns
* Creating industry and corporate blogs and editorials
* Managing Google Ads campaigns to support commercial campaigns within budget
* Working with our appointed agencies to enhance SEO performance
* Introducing a chat function to company website and exploring AI interfaces to support corporate strategy
* Designing new online video content around our products
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours&Benefits:
* £20,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday 9am till 5:30pm
* Hybrid working (Mix between office and home working once passed probation)
* 25 Days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Breakout rooms with consoles
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Passion for Content creation
* Enjoys being creative and bringing thoughts to life
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Previous work experience in a customer facing role
* Experience using Linked in, Facebook, X and Instagram
* MS Office (Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
* Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4/C in GCSE English
This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in Content Creation. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Content Creator.
With our expert online training and one-to-one support, you’ll channel your creativity and learn to create, implement, and analyse successful campaigns as part of a professional marketing team.
