Position Overview
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be the hero our customers rely on for field repairs and service requests. Your expertise will help diagnose issues and provide detailed insights to our customers, ensuring they receive timely and effective solutions. You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our on-site diagnostic and repair capabilities for Caterpillar products.

Your Responsibilities
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will:
* Provide timely estimates for arrival at customer sites based on service requests.
* Communicate effectively with site management to ensure adherence to customer procedures.
* Diagnose equipment issues using specialized tools and collaborate with customer operators.
* Identify and requisition necessary parts for repairs, coordinating delivery timelines.
* Perform repairs and services according to the agreed work plan, ensuring high standards.

Qualifications

* Experience with field-based diagnostic tools and heavy earth-moving equipment.
* A valid LDV driving license.
* Apprentice-trained engineer or NVQ Level 3 preferred, with significant experience as a service engineer.
* Familiarity with various construction and static machines.
