Role: Audit Manager

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000

The firm is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead on a varied portfolio of clients, support the wider audit team and play a key role in developing the department. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
* Oversee a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors ensuring high quality service delivery
* Review audit files, working papers and final accounts prepared by the team
* Support, mentor and develop junior and part qualified auditors
* Attend client meetings, provide updates and offer commercially focused advice
* Work closely with partners to identify opportunities to enhance or expand services
* Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal quality procedures
Requirements
* UK practice experience is essential
* Qualified ACA or ACCA
* Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting
* Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
* Ability to supervise teams and provide clear guidance and review points
* Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple assignments
