We are looking for a Deputy Manager - Childrens Home to join our client based in Chard.
As a Deputy Manager - Childrens Home you will be passionate about supporting children and young people in their care and achieve their potential within this social care setting.
As part of this role you will be supporting the Registered Manager and assisting with the day to day running of the home and inspire a team of Childrens Residential Support Workers to deliver the car to the young people.
You will be working in a small team and really making a difference to the childrens lives acting as a mentor and taking part in activities with the children some of whom have experienced trauma in their lives.
To be considered for this position you will have:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
A minimum qualification of a QCF Level 3 Diploma in working with children
An understanding of OFSTED
At least one years experience as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker and worked with Children.You will also be part of the on call rota and have the best interests of the children whilst in your care.
