You will provide technical support to the manufacturing unit, carrying out tool changes and machine setting, safely and efficiently, following company work instructions and procedures. You will also Ensure that quality items are produced in line with the company standards, on time and in full. You will report to the Production Manager and the working hours are dependent on department. Shifts will consist of 3 week rotating shift (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) Key Job Accountabilities As part of the Technician Team you’ll be responsible for… * Carry out tool changes and setting for plastics moulding machinery (Injection Moulding). * Fault finding on machinery, identifying mechanical faults, set up issues, ancillary equipment settings and production quality issues. * Report to your Supervisor when any machines are stopped for any reason other than tool changes. Report all machine faults if they cannot be cured or are affecting production and agree a suitable course of action. * Raise maintenance works orders detailing any machine faults to the maintenance department. * Carry out regular safety checks on all machines and equipment and take appropriate action to deal with any non- compliance. * Ensure at every QC ch...
