1. £19.10 per hour
2. Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Belfast HQ
3. 37.5 hours per week
4. Temporary, approx 6 months
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. To be responsible for managing ICT Support Services in the ICT Department to include Hosting Management, Lifecycle management, Purchasing and Staff Management.
6. To manage ICT support to Line of Business Applications
7. To manage the ICT Infrastructure technical team
8. To engage with Senior Management and Suppliers on a technical level in the development and implementation of clinical projects which are dependent on ICT infrastructure.
9. Participate in and undertake appropriate tasks for both local and regional ICT programmes of work, reporting on progress as required.
10. Contribute to the formulation of procedures, standards and guidance for both technical staff and users of the ICT Service desk and ICT support services.
What you'll need for this role:
11. A University Degree or a recognised equivalent educational qualification in an ICT discipline.
12. AND a minimum of two years experience in the installation and support of the full range of network based computer systems.
13. AND experience of managing staff.
14. OR HND or recognised equivalent educational qualification in an ICT discipline.
15. AND a minimum of three years’ experience in the installation and support of the full range of network based computer systems.
16. Must be able to participate in the ICT on call rota.
17. Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
18. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport which enables them to carry out the duties of the post in full).
