Contract Manager - Responsibilities Overview
* Deliver specialized and complex commercial contract management services, including managing your own portfolio of projects, to meet and exceed project delivery expectations.
* Ensure clear, effective, and attainable communication with all stakeholders while maintaining compliance with internal reporting requirements.
* Oversee transactional commercial contract management tasks to ensure efficient and effective contract execution, monitoring, and compliance across the organization.
* Devise and implement a streamlined process for the lifecycle management of transactional contracts, from initial drafting through negotiation, execution, and closure, optimizing efficiency and minimizing risk across the board.
* Deliver a comprehensive risk assessment framework tailored for transactional commercial contracts, ensuring each agreement undergoes thorough due diligence to protect organizational interests and facilitate informed decision-making.
* Partner with financial stakeholders to manage governance and forecast processes effectively, ensuring transparent and accountable financial planning.
* Enhance contract visibility and control by deploying an integrated contract management system that provides real-time insights into contract status, performance metrics, and compliance indicators, empowering stakeholders with actionable intelligence to drive strategic outcomes.
Contract Manager - Candidate Profile:
* Qualified with a relevant technical degree or via substantial commercial contract management experience.
* Experience in managing contracts in excess of £20M with knowledge of highly-complex technical projects that are industry first developments.
* Experience within infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, energy, renewables or technically complex construction management industries would be highly beneficial
* Experience with EPC, FEED or PFI contracts would also be beneficial
* Strong financial acumen with commercial contract management governance skills
