Key Responsibilities:
As Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in overseeing financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making:
7. Take ownership of financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy
8. Produce monthly financial statements and management reports
9. Manage cashflow and working capital, including forecasting
10. Oversee transactional finance including payroll, VAT, and billing
11. Reconcile balance sheets with full supporting schedules
12. Prepare KPI reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders
13. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
14. Lead the annual audit process and maintain strong financial controls
15. Assist with system improvements including finance software transitions
What we’re looking for:
To be successful as a Management Accountant, you’ll bring the following:
16. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or QBE considered
17. Proven experience in a similar Accountant role with strong technical knowledge
18. Solid understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting
19. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
20. Advanced Excel and good systems knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics desirable)
21. High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
22. Confident communicator who can work across all levels of the business
23. Experience within hospitality or related sectors would be advantageous
