Facilities and Engineering Supervisor – St Ives, Cambridgeshire
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities and Engineering Supervisor to take ownership of our site facilities and utilities here in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This key role ensures everything runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day‑to‑day management of facilities systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building services, ensuring reliability and fit for purpose.
* Shape and drive the preventative maintenance strategy, using data and performance insights to reduce downtime and improve long‑term asset reliability.
* Participate in CAPEX and improvement projects – developing business cases through to delivery and commissioning.
* Work closely with contractors and service providers, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
* Solid experience in facilities or maintenance engineering.
* Strong technical knowledge with a structured, organized approach.
* Comfortable managing budgets, analysing data, and maintaining accurate, audit‑ready documentation.
* Confident communicator able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
* Passion for continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail.
