Applications Communications Sales Director, responsible for developing the sales of Oracle Network Solutions across the territory in the service provider segment, ensuring excellence in sales management and leveraging industry knowledge to deliver compelling market propositions and support to the sales team.
What You Will Do
Develop the sales of Oracle Network Solutions across your territory in the service provider segment, ensuring excellence in sales management. You’ll use your industry knowledge to deliver compelling market propositions and to support your sales team.
* Lead, drive, and deliver new sales revenues across our Network Applications (Signalling & Security, Policy, Network Automation, Voice and Real Time Communication)
* Implement the Oracle strategy throughout your territory, with specific industry plans
* Manage your team’s performance and development with objectives, targets, and regular 1:1 feedback, towards a culture of results achievement and strong customer engagement
* Develop long-term, sustainable relationships with senior-level customers and partners
* Collaborate in a matrix organization, engaging colleagues to achieve common goals and make joint decisions
Responsibilities
Brief Summary
Manages and develops a team of sales specialists including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Sales Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle communication products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
