The Electronic Engineering Placement Student will work in the work in the New Product Development Engineering team, alongside a small team of experienced Electronic Engineers, supporting and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio. This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting in September 2026 and will be based fulltime onsite at OI Andor, Springvale Business Park, Belfast. We are for looking enthusiastic Electronic engineering students who: Will have successfully completed the 2nd year of a BEng/MEng degree (or equivalent) by June 2026 Have an understanding of basic concepts of Electronic design- analogue and digital Have experience working and fault finding on electronic circuits/systems Are available to start placement in September 2026 Are hungry to learn and innovate Are excellent team players and communicators Are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges How to Apply: If you are ready to embark on a thrilling engineering journey with us apply via Jobs at Oxford Instruments with a CV and a cover letter outlining your aspirations and why you'd be a great fit for OI Andor.
