Your expertise and guidance will enable businesses to align their strategies with their people, fostering success and growth. You will work closely with our stakeholders, building strong relationships and coaching leaders to ensure the delivery of people objectives and consistent HR practices.In addition, you will take the lead on people projects and work streams, collaborating with HR managers and the leadership team to drive key initiatives such as talent management, performance management, and employee engagement. From recruitment to discipline, grievance handling, change management, and more, you will be a trusted resource for HRSS customers, assisting them in navigating these areas successfully. This is a customer facing role so a commercial and customer focused approach is essential.In this role you are accountable for: Providing advice on the practical application of people policies and procedures Partnering line managers on a range of complex people related issues in line with Agenda for Change and current employment legislation Supporting managers in the case management of a range of complex issues including matters relating to disciplinary, grievance, performance, attendance management, bullying and harassment etc Partnering managers in the design and delivery of change programs including changes to terms and conditions of employment, business reorganisation and TUPE Support in the development of products and services which meet customer requirements Lead on the delivery of customer engagement initiatives and promote products and services to existing and new customers To be successful in this role you will: Understand the complexity and challenge of an external customer facing role Be confident in the provision of advice and be able to influence and persuade stakeholders Call upon resilience and determination to drive results Demonstrate a strong understanding of NHS terms and conditions Have a strong commercial awareness and be able to identify opportunities to add value to the benefit of customers Demonstrate excellent relationship management and communication skills Show a strong commitment to continuous improvement or service development Be confident in presenting to large groups in a commercial environment We are working remotely currently.Please refer to the attached Job Description for further information.Person SpecificationExperienceEssential Significant relevant experience in a full generalist HR role, working in a customer focused environment. Experience of advising on HR policies and procedures, employment law and best practice. Experience of providing business focused HR solutions. Desirable Experience of working with NHS terms and conditions of service. Experience of developing and delivering training. QualificationsEssential Degree or equivalent qualification or experience Assoc CIPD Personal Qualities, Knowledge and SkillsEssential Thorough working knowledge of applying Human resources policies and procedures and associated employment law. Ability to work with business leaders to develop imitative HR solutions to meet business need Advanced communication skills to establish good working relationships with leaders and colleagues. Good report writing and presentation skills. Solution Focused Organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise and meet deadlines. IT literate Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with situations in a sensitive manner Strong team worker Commitment to on-going professional development Desirable Knowledge of Agenda for Change and the NHS Plan.
