Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join East Riding Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise family time between children who are looked after and their parents, carers, or other significant people, ensuring sessions are safe, supportive, and in line with agreed plans.

Support children before, during, and after family time, promoting their emotional wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
*
Transport children to and from family time using your own vehicle, ensuring appropriate business insurance is in place.
*
Observe, monitor, and accurately record family time sessions, producing clear, factual, and timely written accounts.
*
Work in partnership with social workers, carers, and other professionals to support positive outcomes for children and families.
*
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Contribute to assessments and planning by providing feedback and observations from supervised family time.
Requirements:
* Experience of working in Education, Health & Social Care, or Children's Services
* Full UK Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle
