An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Associate to join a well-established and highly regarded Real Estate team in London.
Your new role
This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range ofmercial property matters, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant work, investment transactions, and development projects.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team that is part of a national property group, with access to specialist expertise in areas such as Real Estate Finance, Planning, Construction, and Litigation. The London team advises a broad client base including national retailers, developers, investors, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advising on acquisitions and disposals of investment property, including sale and leaseback transactions
2. Drafting and negotiating leases and associated documents for both landlords and tenants
3. Handling site acquisitions for development and investment, including development agreements and onward disposals
4. Supervising junior colleagues on property portfolio management
5. Reviewing and reporting on title matters and heads of terms
6. Coordinating with other legal teams ( Corporate, Banking, Construction) on real estate transactions
What you'll need to succeed
7. Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (ideally 2–4 years PQE)
8. Strong experience inmercial property law.
9. Solid background in landlord and tenant matters.
10. Proactive andmercially minded approach.
11. Excellentmunication and organisational skills.
12. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
13. Enthusiasm for business development and networking.
14. Financial awareness and attention to detail.
