The Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the coordination and execution of Vesalic’s programmes.
This is a hands-on, operations and delivery-focused role, working closely with the R&D team to ensure that projects are structured, compliant, and progressing efficiently. The role is centred on execution, coordination, and operational follow-through, supporting the R&D team, and ensuring alignment across internal teams, external partners, and operational processes.
Reporting Line
This role will report to the CEO and work closely with the CSO and the broader R&D team.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Support the execution of projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Liaise with internal teams, CROs, academic collaborators, and external vendors
- Manage and track operational documentation, including NDAs, contracts, and collaboration agreements
- Support logistical coordination, including vendor onboarding and project-related workflows
- Organise and maintain data rooms, shared folders, and documentation systems
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and track actions and follow-ups
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks
- Support compliance with regulatory and quality standards where applicable
- Prepare materials for internal updates, board discussions, and external stakeholders
- Ensure effective communication across a remote, international team
- Contribute to improving operational processes and project management practices
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or operations within biotech or pharma
- Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders
- Experience handling documentation and external partner coordination (e.g. NDAs, contracts, vendors)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Desirable:
- Exposure to translational research or R&D environments
- Basic understanding of drug development processes
- Experience in logistics coordination or vendor management
- Familiarity with regulatory and quality considerations in biotech
