Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially astute and self-driven Field Sales Manager – Software Services to lead client acquisition and revenue growth initiatives. In this role, you will take ownership of the sales cycle—from prospecting through to deal closure—ensuring our clients fully understand the business value of our solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, technical pre-sales, and leadership teams to shape compelling narratives that drive commercial outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, B2B environment and who is eager to build lasting partnerships in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
Responsibilities
* Act as a key growth catalyst by identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities
* Generate continual leads and target lead maturity on a daily basis
* Lead impactful product demonstrations and articulate ROI-driven solution narratives to prospective clients
* Develop tailored proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders to support enterprise sales cycles
* Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring alignment between their business goals and our software capabilities
* Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales KPIs and revenue targets
* Maintain accurate, real-time data in CRM systems and support forecasting efforts
* Liaise with the delivery and customer success teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and handover process
* Stay attuned to market movements, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform sales strategy
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related discipline
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B software, SaaS, enterprise software, or managed IT services, bespoke solutions and technology sales in the United Kingdom along with legal rights to work full time in the said country
* Proven ability to build client trust and manage long-term relationships
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in remote sales tools and CRM platforms
* A self-starter mindset with high attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle or digital transformation solutions with focus on Customer Lifecycle Value
* Familiarity with upselling, cross-selling, and account-based marketing strategies
* Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers in technical and business functions
