Join our dynamic team at Wellpark Brewery as a Maintenance Engineer! We're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to help maintain and improve our automated systems and machinery. If you're passionate about engineering and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

As an Engineering Craftsperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment reliability and uptime. You’ll be responsible for maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs across our brewery, while also supporting operational flexibility. Flexible working on a 3 cycle shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks.
2. Ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are upheld.
3. Follow quality procedures to maintain product and service standards.
4. Support prioritisation of work and advise on spare parts.
5. Log maintenance activities and anomalies in the EAM system.
6. Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors.
7. Maintain a clean and organised work area (5S principles).
8. Support cross-functional teamwork and operational duties.
9. Participate in training and mentor colleagues.
10. Provide cover for engineers during absences.
11. Manage and own the prioritised work list for your area.
12. Identify and contribute to plant improvement initiatives.
13. Support peak production periods with overtime when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

14. Recognised apprenticeship completion.
15. Ideally multi-skilled with PLC fault diagnosis experience.
16. Minimum Standard Grade English and Maths (Grade 3 or equivalent).
17. HNC or City & Guilds qualification preferred.
18. Strong verbal, written, and numerical skills.
19. Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
20. Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently.
21. Experience in production/manufacturing (FMCG preferred).
22. Proactive and results-driven with attention to detail.
23. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
24. Eager to learn and take on new challenges.
25. Logical thinker with excellent communication skills.
