Overview
Support the Environment Agency’s carbon management goals through the provision of user support, service delivery and the development of carbon tools for infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational support for the Environment Agency’s carbon tools and assist users in their effective use.
* Deliver and maintain a range of services to users of carbon tools, including the coordination of user activities related to tool changes and improvements.
* Agree and maintain service agreements with a range of user groups and ensure consistent communication of service updates.
* Act as a senior product user for digital improvement projects of carbon tools and associated data sets.
* Plan and manage user activities during the implementation of carbon tool changes and improvements.
* Manage the resources and funding for the support and maintenance of carbon tools.
* Collaborate with operational carbon communities and national leads to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
* Work with IT suppliers, internal teams (FCRM, Operations, DDTS), local authorities, water companies and other stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective carbon management outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Significant experience and knowledge in carbon management for infrastructure assets, projects or programmes.
* Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes.
* Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services.
* Experience in developing training materials and supporting documentation.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse, evaluate and implement improved ways of working.
* Problem‑solving skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve complex business issues.
* Focus on efficiency, innovation and quality in all activities.
* Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build and sustain relationships.
* Self‑management ability and a proactive approach to work.
