CNC Setter Operator
Redruth | Aerospace / Machine Shop | Temp to perm | Hourly Rate: basic Rate £18.73 paying up to £26.50 p/h inclusive of shift allowance

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Setter Operator to join a forward-thinking organisation renowned for precision engineering, technical innovation, and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC machines in line with engineering drawings, planning sheets, and quality standards.
* Ensure machining operations meet production targets and agreed cycle times.
* Maintain consistent quality output, ensuring all components are machined to precise specifications.
* Adhere to all safe working practices, using safety guards and PPE provided.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across Fabrication and Machine Shop departments.
* Support wider production requirements and departmental objectives.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and quality control.
Requirements
* ONC/HNC or equivalent craftsman-level qualification.
* Competent in the use of CNC machine tools, measuring instruments, and inspection procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and process documentation.
* At least 3 years within a CNC machining or precision engineering environment.
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
* Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to work a three-shift rotating pattern.
* Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental procedures.
