Role Purpose
To manage and optimize the collection, transportation, and processing of recyclable materials, ensuring efficient logistics operations in line with environmental regulations, cost-efficiency, and sustainability targets.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the end-to-end logistics for the recycling transactions (skips, roros, aggregate bags).
* Oversee planning and optimize routes and schedules to ensure timely collection and delivery.
* Coordinate with waste collection teams, recycling centres and third-party haulers.
* Monitor and analyse logistics performance using KPIs; recommend and implement improvements.
* Ensure compliance with all environmental and transport regulations.
* Supervise and train logistics staff; ensure a safe working environment.
Key Competencies
* Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and recycling operations.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and leadership abilities.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to work with logistics software and data.
* Attention to detail and commitment to environmental compliance.

Role Location and Benefits
Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting a Recycling Logistics Manager to join the Recycling team.
Location: Mick George Head Office - Huntingdon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday between 6am & 6pm, Saturdays are as required
Pay: To be discussed
