Duty 1:8 weeks and transfer at first hearing so SWs are not carrying court work which is unusual in a CP team. Significant support via partnership and improvement team to manage the day-to-day work. Manageable caseloads and high level of support and senior management oversight. Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
