Overview
Client Information:
Macmillan: A leading UK charity providing support to those affected by cancer, founded in 1911.
Essity: A global hygiene and health company producing personal care and tissue products, formed in 2017 after splitting from SCA.
Responsibilities
This role reports to the Business Director or Client Partner and leads a team of 4 Paid Social experts, including 1 Social Manager and 3 executives.
Leadership & Strategy
Lead full-funnel strategy, test & learn implementation, and performance attribution for Macmillan’s charitable initiatives, acting as the client’s POC for strategic support.
Support strategic development and growth of the Macmillan account, ensuring best practices across teams and markets.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure targets are met and grow Paid Social revenue.
Client & Account Management
Develop and oversee best practices, team materials, and process standardization.
Guide Account Managers on campaign performance and data requests.
Collaborate on media plans for regional markets and produce case studies.
Team & Line Management
Foster a strong team ethos and effective leadership.
Upskill team members on planning, buying, and measurement, especially beyond Meta platforms.
Manage career development and recruitment efforts.
Qualifications
We seek an ambitious, strategic Paid Social expert who is autonomous yet collaborative, with a positive attitude. Charity experience is a plus but not essential. Experience with both brand and performance campaigns is desirable.
Must Have
Experience managing brand and direct response campaigns on Paid Social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest).
Advanced knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat.
Proven ability to innovate in biddable media.
Experience leading and developing teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
Solution-oriented and strategic thinking.
