Huggens’s College was founded in 1844 as an Almshouse in Northfleet, Kent. The modern buildings include a Chapel, College Room, currently 30 units of accommodation and homes for two resident members of staff. (see )
The Directors are seeking to appoint a Priest, ideally from an Anglican background, to provide spiritual and pastoral care for College residents and to be responsible for the administration and day-to-day running of the community. The post is residential (a four-bedroom house is provided) and requires a dedicated person with sensitivity towards elderly people from a wide range of Christian traditions.
