Salary: GBP30000 - GBP34000 per annum
* Children’s Residential Support Worker
* Working for a well-established organisation that specialises in support for children and young people within OFSTED-regulated care homes
* Support 1 young person with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.
* Provide therapeutic support, working towards positive outcomes for all young people
* Work within a staff team of support workers, seniors, deputy managers and a registered manager
* Ensure all support given meets OFSTED standards
* Support children and young within the home and in the community
* Arranging and taking part in activities
* Managing, updating and following care plans
* The home is based in Hucknall
* £30,000 per annum
* Full-time, permanent contract
* 43 hours a week
The successful candidate:
* You MUST be willing to carry out personal care duties
* You MUST be a driver as you will be required to transport the young people from time to time
* You MUST be an empathetic and relatable person, have good listening and
communication skills, and a natural instinct to help others
* You MUST be able to commute to Newark
