Job Description:
Venn Group is working on an excellent opportunity to join a Housing Association based in the North West. This is a Fixed Term Contract within their Legal and Commercial Services Team, covering a period of maternity leave.
This role is ideal for a Housing Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in handling disrepair claims. The successful candidate will join an award-winning Trust and support the local community.
Salary:
£42,300 - £47,000 DOE (this may be negotiable)
Hours:
37 hours a week (considering part-time)
Length of contract:
12 months

Working Arrangement:
Ideally hybrid attendance; fully remote work will also be considered
Job Requirements:
* Managing disrepair claims, including responding in accordance with the pre-action protocol
* Negotiating settlements where applicable
* Reporting monthly to the Trust’s Senior Management team
* Managing and reviewing warning alerts for high-risk properties, including properties requiring dual visits
* Assisting the Legal Services Manager with delegated tasks, particularly related to the management of the Trust’s commercial property portfolio
* Providing legal advice and support to all teams across the Trust
