This position offers a varied generalist remit and would suit a commercially aware HR professional who is confident managing employee relations matters, supporting recruitment activity, and contributing to policy development within a dynamic environment. What do you need? CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Experience managing employee relations cases and providing HR advice. Experience with full-cycle recruitment and policy development. Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills. What you will do each day Provide clear and practical HR guidance to managers and employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and current UK employment legislation. Manage employee relations matters from initial enquiry through to conclusion, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievance processes and appeals, maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout. Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, covering attraction strategies, candidate screening, interviews, offer management, contract preparation and onboarding. Assist with the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures to reflect legislative updates and organisational requirements. Support performance management frameworks, absence management processes and change initiatives. Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data, upholding confidentiality and data protection standards. Prepare HR metrics and reports to inform leadership decision-making. Participate in HR-led projects and continuous improvement activities to strengthen the overall people function.
