Unqualified Teacher\n\nArea: LU1 - LU7\n\nSalary: £100-£115 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)\n\nHours of work: 37.5 hours a week (or ad-hoc flexible)\n\nStart date: September 2025\n\nRole:\n\nAre you a looking to gain experience in education? Do you want the chance to work across a range of different year groups within Secondary Education?\n\nTeaching Personnel is working with secondary schools located across the Town of Luton and specifically supported by a sector-specialist consultant for the last 5 years, offering opportunities to Cover Supervisors. We are looking for Graduates with subject-specific knowledge ideally local to Luton to support secondary schools in the area.\n\nYou are not required to have a teaching qualification to be successful, just up to date and relevant experience working with young people.
This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who is potentially looking to start a career in education.\n\nThis position will allow you to gain experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with students. This is a chance to develop teaching and strong classroom management skills in an environment where planning will always be in place.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nWorking across a range of different year groups and departments\nManaging the behaviour of students\nSupervising pre-planned, pre-set work from teachers\nRequirements of the Candidate:\n\nRecent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching or care setting\nDegree educated\nBe passionate and committed to working with children in education\nHave strong behaviour management skills\nBe an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills\nBe punctual, flexible and reliable\nThis is an ideal role for someone who is looking to develop their experience of working within a school environment or may wish to complete teacher training in the future.\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
