Nationwide (Northampton area) – Full Time Including Evenings And Weekends (flexibility Required)
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for multiple National Rental Drivers (HGV Class 1) to join our Vehicle Rental Team. You will be responsible for the transportation of a wide range of HGV vehicles on a national basis. The role requires flexibility to service customers across the UK from day to day and the ability to work within unstructured hours while effectively managing your own workload and logistics.
Salary: £35,000 + up to £4,000 Bonus + Van
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the delivery and collection of a wide range of HGV vehicles
* Provide a consistently high level of customer service
* Complete rental related paperwork where necessary
* Valet and inspect vehicles for damage
* Keep the depot clean and tidy
* Take workshop vehicles to HGV testing station
* Prepare and allocate vehicles for hire and handle workshop needs
* Collect parts for the workshop when required
* Work flexible unstructured hours to meet business needs
* Willing to work overtime as required
* Daily checks on runner vehicles
* Take reasonable care of your health and safety and do not put others at risk
What candidate are we looking for?
* HGV Class 1 licence
* Experience within an HGV driver role
* Flexibility to work unstructured hours and across a large geographical area
* A friendly and helpful attitude with good customer service
* Ability to manage own workload and logistics against business needs
