A well-established and inclusive school in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced and committed SENCO to join the senior leadership team from September 2025. The successful candidate will lead the school’s SEND provision and work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
Key Duties:

Coordinate the identification, support, and monitoring of all SEND pupils
*
Lead and train the team of Teaching Assistants, EHCP coordinators, and Inclusion mentors
*
Maintain statutory compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and liaise with external agencies
*
Oversee and deliver interventions, specialist support programmes, and adapted curriculum design
*
Ensure SEND students are fully included in all aspects of school life and track progress regularly
We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status and NASENCO qualification (or willingness to gain it promptly)
*
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and multi-agency working
*
A leader who is empathetic, well-organised, and passionate about inclusion
*
Experienced in writing EHCPs, conducting reviews, and working with parents/carers
